Your Web Squad started as a simple idea around the kitchen table: what if local businesses could get the same quality websites as big companies, but without the stress, the huge invoices, or the confusing tech talk?

We’re a small family team with more than 25 years of experience building digital products for well-known names like The Globe and Mail, Postmedia, TFO, ecobee, the City of Toronto, Phoenix Geophysics, and even Kingston’s own Barbeque Pro.

Now we use all that experience to help the businesses we actually care about: the ones in our own community.

Why We Do This

This whole project started because of the people around us.

We have friends who run cafés, home services, small shops, creative studios — and we kept seeing the same thing over and over: they couldn’t afford to drop 4 to 10K upfront for a decent website.

Most were stuck with something they built themselves on Wix or Squarespace years ago. Slow, clunky, hard to update, and never quite doing the job.

They hated dealing with it. They felt embarrassed to send people there. But fixing it felt impossible.

We looked at all that and thought: There has to be a better way.
